Tidepool is a sales and revenue tracker for LinkedIn creators, influencers, and the accountants who serve them. Track deals, invoices, earnings, contracts, taxes, and partner info, all in one calm, warm space.
Tidepool is a proprietary product owned and operated by Vinayak Rao and Dominick Namis. All source code, design, content, and brand are the exclusive property of the owners. Use of the product is governed by the Terms of Service.
Tidepool is in private beta. Pricing tiers are planned (Creator, Creator Pro, Agency Standard, Agency Pro, Accountant, Enterprise). Early users may receive promotional pricing at the owners' discretion.
No. The tax estimator produces a rough figure from publicly available federal brackets and a blended effective state rate. It does not account for credits, local taxes, multi-state apportionment, retirement contributions, the QBI deduction, or dozens of other factors. It is a tool for conversation with a licensed CPA, not a substitute for one.
Data is stored in Supabase Postgres with row-level security that scopes every row to your organization. Contract files live in a private Storage bucket accessed only via server-side routes using a service role. Stripe keys and connected-account tokens are stored encrypted in environment variables, never exposed to clients.
Tidepool uses Stripe Connect (Express). Each creator connects their own Stripe account during onboarding. Invoice payments are routed directly to the creator's connected account, Tidepool does not hold funds. Webhook events flip invoices to Paid automatically.
No. Tidepool organizes your income, expenses, and key tax figures into a "Tax Pack" you can share with your CPA. We do not file returns, provide tax advice, or guarantee the accuracy of estimates. We are not a licensed tax preparer.
Tidepool uses Anthropic's Claude models for specific features: partner research and pitch angles, extracting billing details from invoice screenshots (vision), generating media kit copy, and auto-populating suggested contacts. AI usage is tier-gated and metered. We never send data to train third-party models.
AI features are in beta. Content is generated by language models and may contain errors, outdated names or job titles, hallucinated LinkedIn URLs, fabricated partnerships. Always verify names, titles, links, and facts before using AI-generated content. LinkedIn profile links are intentionally replaced with LinkedIn search URLs so they always resolve, even if the model got a specific URL wrong.
Yes. The Tax Pack PDF export and CSV downloads from Earnings and Invoices are available today. A full data export endpoint is planned.
